GERITOL!
Amazon is on its way! Someone at Amazon decided my order needed to be rushed between 4am and 8am. They must've looked at my profile and said this gal needs this stuff ASAP! I can see them flying by other cars, passing everyone in front of them, and honking at slow pokes.
My order is anti-aging potion, or maybe some sort of B complex LOL. It is supposed to however, give me energy, help me recover better from workouts (woohoo), boost my longevity and help me get more done in a day! (their words not mine lol) (Whew) Remember Geritol? I think it's just a new version of Geritol!!! I can't wait to get it for my new season of life. (And yes, you can still get Geritol! It comes in the nasty tasting liquid or pill form LOL)
I have watched my grandsons parttime since 2018. That has been my assignment that God gave me for the past 7 years. He has blessed me with memories and sweet times together that I will cherish forever. In a couple of weeks, both of the little ones will head for school. My assignment is changing. I don't know what it will be, but I know it will be good. I know God has a good plan for the next chapter. I am ready for a new season.
Is God getting you ready for a new season in your life? A new direction, a new perspective, a new mindset, a new attitude? a new purpose? a new chapter? It's never too late to start something new. How about a new way to see yourself? It seems like we are always having to reinvent our lives. Our lives change. Our relationships change. Sometimes it leaves us in a spin! But it's never too late to reinvent who you want to be. A vibrant, strong, person who is excited for the journey. More hope, more joy, more thankfulness, more loving others, more purpose, someone excited for another day. I hope that is you already. Some of us just need a little push! Someone said "how do you want to see yourself in 5 years?" How about tomorrow? What do you need to change to live a fuller life tomorrow? A more joyful life? An abundant life?
I met a lady at a girls' camping weekend. She had just retired. Her kids were all on their own, making their own way in life. She said she didn't know what to do with herself. She went to Academy Sports and just stood there looking at the hats. She said "what kind of hat am I?" There were beach hats, fishing hats, golf visors, baseball caps. She didn't know which one she was. Then she saw the "adventure" hat. She knew that was it! (her lightbulb moment!) She bought it, loaded her small SUV with a mattress and ice chest and some essentials and off she went. She travels now and has met friends along the way that travel with her. Now she is the adventurer she always wanted to be.
In my life, it always starts with surrender to get to the next chapter. Surrender is accepting what God is allowing in your life and stop resisting (He has a purpose). It is letting go of "my" outcomes (His are always best). It is trusting God no matter what His outcome looks like. It is resting in God's sovereignty (His control in your life) and living in that freedom.
The Bible also talks about us singing a new song to the Lord (Psalm 96:1). That is my new song. Everyday surrender. It frees you up and leaves room for a new song in your life. I have to quit playing the same old song over and over. I want to live tomorrow with a new song. A new excitement. A new adventure. My purpose renewed. My thoughts like Jesus. My heart like His. He is the reason for my song. He is my song! Everyday walking with Him is a new adventure. Take your Geritol and let's sing a new song together!
I love Him. I love you dearly,
Diana
